A publisher for a newspaper is being blackmailed by a burlesque queen, so he sends one of his reporters to try and work things out with her. She ends up getting murdered, making the publisher, his reporter, and anyone connected with him now a suspect.
Not as interesting as it sounds. Peter stands to inherit a fortune at midnight, except there’s (of course) just one catch! He has to be married by then, otherwise his inheritance goes to his uncle, currently living in a haunted mansion. Will Peter get married and subsequently rich?
