I spent some time in the last few days finding better versions of the Cary Grant movies on here and replacing them on the site. I put these up as early as 2013, and they might have been the best versions at the time, but storage and bandwidth restraints also meant I uploaded smaller, lower quality versions of those mediocre versions of the movies. Well I’ve rectified that. Searching on the Archive.org I found some much higher quality prints have been uploaded in the meantime, every movie received a serious upgrade in picture quality. Check out the Cary Grant section of the site to enjoy the higher quality versions and faster loading times for them.
Even though I haven’t posted many new movies, I have been on the upgrade for a lot of existing content now, including doing some of my own “enhancements” to movie prints I thought I could improve. Check those out and look at the source pages I made at the archive.org to see comparison videos. Maybe I should put those in the site somewhere…
