For You I Die - 1947

Johnny Coulter, a convict just trying to serve his last year in prison, is forced by another inmate to attempt a prison break. They are successful and after the break they split up, but not for long. Johnny falls in love with a waitress, Hope Novak, and together they help authorities track and capture the escaped inmate and his henchmen.
