Mindwebs is an excellent radio show that originally aired on WHA Radio in Madison, Wisconsin from the mid 70’s through the mid 90’s. It lasted for over 160 episodes and featured Michael Hanson expertly reading stories by over 130 authors, many of which are well-known authors from Sci-Fi’s golden age.
There is an effort going on right now to resurrect and remaster all 160+ episodes from Michael Hanson’s own tapes which they are then releasing for free on the Archive.org. These episodes come from that effort and are significantly higher quality than what could be found before.

I think this is awesome, but I am a little biased as I am the one helping Michael Hanson publicly release his show. 🙂
Thank you for your support of the show and for helping to spread the word on our work! It was always Michael’s dream to be able to share his creation, in it’s highest quality, for any that wanted to hear it and we are glad you are enjoying it. His first attempt to digitize the show resulted in the theft of the master reels, but he luckily had back up cassettes and that is what is being re-mastered and released on the Archive page. It is an honor to do this for Michael and correct that sad wrong done to both him and us fans of the show. We are both so happy about the interest around the show and being able to present the show as it should be heard, not as crummy low bit rate bootlegs that are barely listenable. When this project is done, EVERYONE will be able to obtain every episode made by Michael Hanson (and for the record there where 169 episodes in the original WHA series). Your copies will be the same as Michael’s. In the process of the release, Michael has revived the show on WMSE in Milwaukee which is where all of the NEW MINDWEBS episodes are being done (we have new episodes over the next 2 weeks!).
