Night of the Living Dead - 1968

On a visit to their father’s grave, Barbara and her cynical brother Johnny see a strange visitor in the cemetery. They both get their first sign that something horrible has happened when the strange visitor bloodthirstily attacks Barbara. As Johnny moves in to save Barbara, he himself is attacked and killed. A frightened and hysterical Barbara is pursued by more of what she later finds out are zombies. In her effort to escape she finds a farmhouse where she seeks refuge…

This is George A. Romero’s signature classic that basically started the zombie craze we are still seeing today.
