As a web developer, I am aware and share concern about how hungry and unscrupulous the personal information business is and that web technologies are basically the farms for that information. Old Time Movies and Radio does use cookies and Google Analytics to gather anonymous information about what, how and when the site is used. Some of this is automatic and not accessible by myself, like the use of Google Ads. I’ve turned the use of personal information in Google Ads off anyway.
The information I can access will only ever be used to improve the site. I will never share or sell any of the information gathered on the site. It’s not even the kind of information that’s worth anything outside of helping me to grow the website.
