Tormented - 1960

Things are going pretty good for Tom Stewart. He lives in a Californian island society and is close to marrying the woman he loves. Then his old girlfriend, Vi, shows up and starts to ruin his plans and life. While meeting at a nearby lighthouse, Vi falls through some broken railing and Tom is faced with the decision to save her life, or let her die. He lets her fall to her death, and Tom believes he has rid himself of Vi forever.
