Marian and Little John intervene when they see a little old woman being abused by two of the Sheriff’s stooges. To his surprise, Little John finds out the little old woman is his mother.

Little John returns to Sherwood Forest and finds his place in Robin’s band taken by Will Scarlet and The Deputy Sheriff offers Little John a pardon.

Bolbee, a sworn enemy of Robin Hood, arrives at Nottingham Castle with a plan to rid the world of Robin Hood once and for all. With Bolbee is a man who looks so much like Robin Hood it could be his double.

There is an archery tournament coming up in which Robin Hood has had his name entered. The only problem is, Robin Hood is away visiting friends at the time. Marian, selected in Robin’s absence, tries to fool everyone and win the tourney in his stead.

Marian’s father has rewarded a knight for saving his life with her hand in marriage. A jealous Robin has to see off the roguish gold digger Sir Jack of Southwark who has made an impression on Marian and the Sheriff does not want Sir Jack marrying Marian and accuses him of murder.

The Deputy Sheriff tells Robin, during a truce, that he will hang two serfs everyday until Robin gives himself up. Marian’s guests, two Lords who outrank the Deputy Sheriff, Alford (Humphrey Lestocq) and Beaumont (Jack Melford) are called on by Robin to make the Deputy Sheriff show his true colors by dressing them as serfs […]
