Forewarned that Robin Hood and Maid Marian will visit Nottingham Fair to buy new supplies of Lincoln Green cloth, the Sheriff stations his men-at-arms in the town square – but a tailor’s scissors provide Robin with an unusual escape route.

A nobleman is attacked while on his way to join King Richard in the Holy Land. His murderer, Baron Onslow, changes clothes with the dead man and rides to Nottingham Castle in his place. But will his disguise fool Robin Hood?

A young cousin of Marian, Edwin, comes to visit in Nottingham. He is skeptical of Robin Hood’s allegiance to the rightful king. Marian takes Edwin to the outlaw’s camp to prove Robin Hood and his men are good people, but it ends up threatening the safety of everyone.
