The last of a wealthy but inbred family live alone in a mansion being cared for by their butler when some distant relatives decide they want to visit and get a piece of the wealth. This is a classic film with Lon Chaney Jr. in it. He was deep into alcohol at the time, and according to a comment on the archive.org page, he was apparently so grateful for the roll he didn’t touch a single drop of alcohol during the shooting of the film. I don’t know if you know any alcoholics, but that’s pretty amazing if true.
